Ok I have to admit, this one was a bit tougher than the first. I actually took it apart quite a few times. It just didn't seem right. And if still doesn't, but I have run out of patience. So it is done! I am not sure exactly what the problem was, other than the fact that I can't miter corners. So maybe that kinda threw it off once the border was on the middle square. Nothing seemed to match up after that. Oh well, I sure hope the next one is easier.

I think if you are new to quilting this might be a little difficult. I think you did a great job. I love the fabrics. I really like the brown with the pink fabrics.
Nancy is right, this is a tough block for somebody that is new to quilting. You are doing a great job and your color choices are excellent. Even if your points aren't perfect, the overall effect of the quilt will be beautiful. Keep plugging away. I felt that the Marti Michell corner trimmer template helped me a lot on this block. It makes it much easier to align the triangles up to the squares. Good luck with the rest of the blocks!
You get A++ for keeping at it...I found a great way that helped me was to get with other quilters or take a class at the local shops..time will help and doing it will teach you a lot...I love your pinks...bright and cheery...
