What a great thanksgiving. Here is my youngest daughter Katie, and her fiance Heath. They just got engaged the night before thanksgiving. Another thing to be thankful for. My daughter is so happy, and I couldn't ask for a better son in law. We are so happy to welcome Heath to the family.
Thanksgiving was at their home in Green Bay and all the food was wonderful. There certainly was alot and it all was so delicious. Heath's family was also there for thanksgiving and it was a pleasure meeting them all. They too are very happy for Katie and Heath.
Tonight is my last night alone, Bill will be home from hunting tomorrow morning and then the long process of cleaning and cutting the deer begins. In all the hunting party got 15 deer, 5 of which are coming home with Bill. I have already made a huge pot of chili for the men, and made sure there is plenty of beverages cold and waiting for them. It will certainly be a long day and I am sure I have plenty of things to do to stay out of their way.
I made several dozen christmas cookies this evening and all are tucked away in the freezer. Still have more to make. I usually make trays of cookies up for some of Bill's older friends that are widowers with no one to cook or bake for them. They look forward to my cookies every year.
